Sharon M. Bollier; Lifelong Area Resident

Sharon M. Bollier, a longtime Bendix Corp. employee and lifelong San Fernando Valley resident, has died in Tarzana. She was 50.

Mrs. Bollier died Saturday of cancer, said her husband, J. Renard Bollier.

A native of Los Angeles, she grew up in Panorama City and graduated from Birmingham High School in Van Nuys in 1958.

From 1963 until April she worked in the oceanics division at Bendix Corp. in Sylmar, writing specifications for anti-submarine devices. She was also a longtime member of Grace Community Church of the Valley.

She is survived by her husband of four years; a daughter, Kelly Ann Carpenter of Arleta; stepsons Christopher Bollier of Northridge and Steven Bollier of San Diego; stepdaughters Lisa Bollier and Cara Bollier of San Diego; parents Stan and Georgia Morton of Arleta; brothers Shannon Morton of Sacramento and Tim Morton of Kennewick, Wash.; sisters Carol Bean of Newhall and Mary Ann Lamascus of La Habra.

A funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. today at the Church at Rocky Peak, 22601 Santa Susana Pass Road in Chatsworth. Burial will be private. Pierce Brothers Meyer-Mitchell Mortuary handled the arrangements. Donations can be made to the Sharon Bollier Memorial Fund, in care of the Church at Rocky Peak.
