Drive Raises $60,500 for Downey Hospital

DOWNEY — Allen Korneff, president of Downey Community Hospital, accepted a check for $60,500 for the hospital from Dae Hanzlicek, president of the Downey Community Hospital Auxiliary.
The funds were raised through such auxiliary functions as management of the gift shop, gift-wrap sales and other fund-raising events. The contribution will be used to purchase cardiology and surgery equipment for the hospital.
