RABBI HIER
I and many other survivors have worked closely with the Simon Wiesenthal Center since it opened in 1977, and I want to correct the statement by Rabbi Seidler-Feller that the center functions without survivors.
As a matter of fact, our organization, the American Congress of Jewish Survivors, last year honored Rabbi Hier and Rabbi Cooper with the emblem of our group for their work with survivors.
