OXNARD : Crash Into Rock Kills Motorist
An Oxnard man died of head injuries after his car drifted off Pacific Coast Highway and crashed into a rock Saturday, police said.
Humberto Flores, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene after being ejected from his vehicle about 6 p.m., the California Highway Patrol said.
Flores, who was not wearing a seat belt, was driving northwest on the highway near the Los Angeles County line when he lost control and hit the rock, the CHP said.
