Alley’s Loss: Kirstie Alley announced Thursday that she has had a miscarriage. Her baby was due in March, and the staff of NBC’s “Cheers” had planned to integrate Alley’s pregnancy into her character’s storyline. Alley and her husband, Parker Stevenson, said they will continue to try to have a family. The actress’ spokeswoman said her work schedule will be unaffected by the miscarriage. She is currently taping “Cheers,” the sitcom she stars in, which makes its season debut Sept. 20.
