Wickes Cos.: The Santa Monica maker and retailer of automotive, industrial, textile and home furnishings products reported second-quarter net income of $3.1 million, a drop of 57% from the 1989 quarter. Revenue fell 7% to 677.3 million. The company said results reflect the fact that it is being restructured after being acquired by WCI Holdings.
