The Rev. Robert H. Schuller, senior pastor of the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, has announced the dedication of the new steeple, which will complete the cathedral. Dedication of the structure begins at 9 a.m. Sept. 16 in the church’s sanctuary, 12141 Lewis St., Garden Grove. Leora Baron has been named education director of Temple Beth Amet in Anaheim, the synagogue’s board of directors has announced.

Baron will direct Sunday School, Hebrew School, confirmation and Hebrew High programs. She also will coordinate Temple Beth’s Adult Education program and hold group activities and assemblies.
