Oil Leak Cleaned in Newport Harbor
NEWPORT BEACH —
The Coast Guard, police and fire officials Saturday cleaned up residue left by a leaking oil drum in Newport Harbor, according to police.
A police spokesman estimated that 20 to 30 gallons of oil and other oil-based products spilled from the drum. The owner of the drum could face prosecution, said police, who did not identify the owner.
