Kudos and Boos

Regarding Jerry Hulse’s travel tip on Cathay Pacific (Aug. 12), I traveled to Hong Kong on the referenced service, first-class. The trip was a wonderful experience. I had prepared mentally for what I felt would be a grueling trip--one would expect any 15-hour flight to be grueling.

However, I was pleasantly surprised, as were the other two members of my party. The first-class cabin was spacious and quite comfortable. The seats were roomy and the food was wonderful. Topping it all off was the fantastic level of service that Cathay Pacific provided. The flight was so good (both the flight over and the return) that it became another wonderful aspect of a memorable trip. I look forward to traveling with Cathay again.
