The Orange County Center for Contemporary Art will celebrate its 10th anniversary with an art auction and reception on Sept. 23 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the gallery, 3621 W. MacArthur Blvd. in Santa Ana. Maurice Hansen of Hansen Auctions, San Clemente, will knock down works donated by artists in Orange County and Los Angeles to benefit OCCCA. Tickets to the fund-raiser--which includes pop and jazz entertainers and an hors d’oeuvres buffet--are $30 ($15 of which is tax-deductible), and reservations are requested by Sept. 19. The art can be previewed at OCCCA on Sept. 21 and 22 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. VISA and MasterCard will be accepted for art purchases.
