Countywide : El Toro’s Marines Plan Runways Run

El Toro Marine Corps Air Station is accepting applications for its Sept. 30 Run of the Runways.
The third annual event will have races of 5 and 10 kilometers, plus a half-marathon. The first event will start at 7:30 a.m.
Awards will be presented in each age division for first through third place, plus a wheelchair division.
The registration fee is $12 until Sept. 21 and $15 after that. Registration will be held on race day from 6 to 7 a.m. Proceeds will go to station’s morale, welfare and recreation division to benefit Marines and sailors.
