Rockwell Donates $7,000 to Downey Y Operating Fund

Rockwell International Corp. recently contributed $7,000 to the general operating fund of the Downey Family YMCA, a chapter of the Metropolitan Los Angeles YMCA.

Henry J. Dinenno, Rockwell’s Space Systems Division vice president for advanced programs and business development, presented the check to Robert Golay, executive director and vice president of the Downey Family YMCA, and C. Richard Holmes, chairman of the board of managers.

The Downey chapter, established in 1941, has more than 6,000 members and is the largest multi-service human care agency in the community. Rockwell is a longtime contributor to the chapter.
