Top-seeded Henri Leconte was upset by Michael Tauson, 6-4, 6-3, in the quarterfinals of the Geneva Open today.
Tauson, ranked 146th in the world, needed only 70 minutes to dispose of Leconte, No. 22 in the computer rankings.
Second-seeded Horst Skoff struggled to a 7-6 (7-1), 7-6 (7-3) victory over Renzo Furlan.
Sergi Bruguera, the No. 6 seed, overwhelmed Horacio de la Pena, 6-0, 6-2.
