Bush’s Speech on U.S. Goals in Middle East

I simply could not believe what I saw on the front page of The Times on Sept. 12. There was a headline concerning further word about one of the most important and critical periods in our country’s history, with a small photograph of the President taken during his address to the nation, accompanying the article.
However, dominating the top middle of that front page was a huge picture of Al Davis, owner of the Raiders, with the earth-shattering (?) announcement that he had signed another agreement to keep the Raiders in Los Angeles.
It is more than disappointing when a paper of your caliber ranks two articles in such a manner.
