STATE : Two Split $8.6 Million in Lotto

Two lucky tickets bought in Fresno and Shasta counties had all six winning numbers in Wednesday night’s “Lotto 6-53” drawing and will split the $8.6 million jackpot, lottery officials said today.

The two tickets with all six numbers are worth $4.3 million each, lottery officials said. They were purchased in Prather, in Fresno County, and Cottonwood, in Shasta County.

Two tickets had five numbers plus the bonus number. They each won $477,441, dividing a prize pool of $954,883.
