I am very upset and appalled at your critique! I myself happen to be 14 1/2 and as you say “a teeny-bopper.”

I know your job is to critique concerts, albums and whatever else you do, but there is a line. That line represents your job and people’s feelings! If you went out there and tried to do your best at something--say, dancing and singing--would you like to be called dumb and awkward? I don’t think you would!

I am a very huge fan of NKOTB and I, like everybody else that likes them, am very sick and hurt of all the jokes we get about liking them. Each and every one of them has talent. It doesn’t matter if it’s singing, dancing, acting, etc. Everybody has a kind of talent. I am going to say my piece about Jon. He’s got talent! Not everybody might see it, but it’s there. It could be writing, drawing, anything!

Mr. Lewis, you have no room to bad-mouth. Your review was appalling, rude and unacceptable. If I were you, I would apologize while you are ahead. If you keep up the demeaning critiques, you’re going to lose more readers of your newspaper, such as myself.
