Molestation Suspect Faces New Charge
A South Los Angeles man who was charged last week with 10 counts of child molestation for allegedly molesting four boys was charged this week with molesting another boy, bringing the total number of felony sexual molestation counts against him to 11, police said.
Michael Milton Alexander, 27, was arrested Aug. 30 after relatives of a 9-year-old boy told police they had caught Alexander molesting the youth at their home, police said. The boys are between the ages of 9 and 14, police said.
Most of the charges stem from an incident Aug. 26 when Alexander allegedly gathered the boys in a neighborhood garage, gave them marijuana and alcohol and molested them, police said.
Prosecutors said additional charges may be filed after a preliminary hearing Oct. 10. Meanwhile, Alexander was being held without bail at County Jail.
