Woman Killed in Santa Clarita Crash
A Santa Clarita woman was killed Saturday afternoon when she lost control of her car on Sand Canyon Road in Santa Clarita Valley and hit a power pole, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Gloria Lopez, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene, a coroner’s spokeswoman said. The Sheriff’s Department said she apparently lost control of her car because she was speeding.
