THE SIDELINES : Prized 7-Footer Picks Kansas
Greg Ostertag, the most highly recruited basketball player in Texas, says he has orally committed to attending the University of Kansas.

Ostertag, who averaged 15 points and 13 rebounds last season as a junior, said he will sign a letter of intent with the Jayhawks on Nov. 14, the first day of the NCAA’s early signing period for basketball. He visited Kansas two weeks ago.
