Lepton Goes for 11th Win
Colross Racing Inc. and Michael Schwartz’s Lepton will be looking for her 11th win of the year when she takes on a tough field of six in the $32,400 Breeders Championship for sophomore pacing fillies Friday night at Los Alamitos.
The second race on the Friday night card is also of feature status, as Two in a Teepee goes for her sixth straight win in the $27,956 Breeders Championship for 2-year-old pacing fillies.
Two in a Teepee, from the barn of Jim Perez, has not faced the starter in parimutuel action since Aug. 31, but she does have a strong recent qualifying race victory under her belt, clocked in 2:00 3/5.
