L. Dale Crandall has been named the new managing partner for Price Waterhouse’s Southern California practice, which includes about 900 professionals who provide accounting and auditing, tax, management consulting and a broad array of specialty services. Crandall, 49, succeeds Abbott L. Brown, who is joining Columbia Pictures as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Crandall had been managing partner of Price Waterhouse’s San Francisco area offices and managing partner of merger, acquisition and corporate finance services for the firm’s West region.
