Alemany 30, St. Bernard 25--Quarterback Adam Romandi threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Richard Dice with 58 seconds left to send Alemany past St. Bernard (1-3) in a league opener.

Romandi completed 17 of 22 for 223 yards and two touchdowns. Dice caught both touchdown passes and finished with nine catches for 174 yards.

Alemany running back Terry Barnum, an All-Del Rey League pick last season, rushed for 183 yards in 26 carries. He scored on runs of 65 and three yards.

Mark Benitez recovered a St. Bernard fumble to set up the winning touchdown for Alemany (2-1).
