CLIPBOARD : Child Abuse Report

Share

The Orange County Social Services Agency records incidents of child abuse each month. The agency reports the number of families involved and children at risk. This does not reflect the total number of children who are actual victims of abuse, but, rather, the number of children in the household--the total number who are in danger of being abused.

Here’s a look at the first eight months of the year (the most recent period for which information is available) on a city-by-city basis. The cities are listed in terms of rate per thousand residents.
