7th Victim Found at Plane Crash Site
The body of a seventh person has been recovered from the wreckage of a World War II plane that crashed into Clear Lake, and authorities on Monday continued to look for a possible eighth victim.
Aviation authorities now believe seven people were on the Lockheed P2V Harpoon, which intruded on a seaplane air show last weekend and staged an impromptu aerobatics display before plunging into the lake.
Divers were looking for another body because the aircraft could seat eight, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Department.
