A flatbed truck overturned and spilled a load of lumber along southbound Interstate 5 near San Ysidro, blocking traffic in three out of four traffic lanes for about four hours, the California Highway Patrol said.
The truck driver, Otoniel Agripino Tlaxcoapan, of Rosarita Beach, ran into a small car next to him when he tried to change lanes at about 11 a.m., said CHP spokesman Jim Anderson. The impact shifted the load and the truck overturned. No one was injured, Anderson said.
