CBS Wins a 23 Share, 0.13 Rating in Playoffs

Saturday night’s opening game of the American League playoffs got a 13.0 rating and a 23 share, according to overnight ratings from 24 cities.
CBS, in the first season of a $1.08-billion, four-year deal with baseball, said that Thursday night’s Game 1 of the National League playoffs got a 12.2 rating and a 21 share, according to national ratings. The figures for both games are comparable to NBC’s ratings last season.
