Four men who had enough materials and chemicals to manufacture $13 million worth of methamphetamine were convicted Wednesday in U.S. District Court of various drug charges. The men face federal prison sentences of between 10 years to life each and will be sentenced on Jan. 7 by U.S. District Judge Rudi M. Brewster.

The four were convicted by a federal jury, which also found two of the defendants guilty of conspiring to sell about 30 kilograms of cocaine. The convicted men were identified as Donald Johnson of Anaheim, James Nash Weaver of Escondido, and Felipe Martinez and Daniel David Orozco, both of San Marcos. Each man was convicted on multiple drug counts.

According to a report from the U.S. attorney’s office, four other defendants had previously pleaded guilty in the case. They are Maria Consuelo Orozco of San Marcos, Gilberto Preciado of Oceanside, Carlos Moreno of Vista and Jaime Zazueta of Escondido.
