County Public Works Agency Faces Probe
County supervisors have ordered an investigation into the alleged misuse of county personnel and equipment in the Public Works Department.
Supervisor Mike Antonovich called for the probe after published reports indicated that one foreman was suspended for his alleged actions, but was not fired because others had not been punished for similar actions in the past.
Larry Parrish, a foreman in the Pasadena shop where workers allegedly built boat racks, fishing-lure molds and other items for his personal use, was suspended for 30 days.
