SLEEK CHIC
If Mayor Bradley’s executive assistant thinks she should go to work wearing $2,595 worth of clothes, and a judge thinks $2,395 is normal (not counting shoes) and a pediatrician spends $1,344 to look like her 10-year-old patients, it’s no wonder ordinary people keep getting the short end of things.
For variety, the feature includes a scientist who wears $3,090 worth of clothes, including $1,480 earrings and a $20 headband, to work and a bank president who wears a coat dress ($900) over tights, but the dress is open up to heeeere in front (what happens when she sits down?). If this is “chic,” give me “frump” anytime.
What a waste of paper! And since it’s on glossy paper, it can’t even be recycled!
