Metro Rail Subway Worker Breaks Leg
A Metro Rail subway project worker broke his leg Monday at a construction site in downtown Los Angeles, authorities said.
The man, who was not identified, was injured shortly before 7:30 a.m. and was taken to County-USC Medical Center, Fire Department spokesman Jim Wells said.
Details on the accident were not immediately available from officials of the Los Angeles County Transportation Commission, which is overseeing construction of the subway project.
