4 Football Tickets May Bring $10,000 at Sale
A federal judge has ordered two pairs of University of Arizona season basketball and football tickets to be auctioned next week, and officials estimate they could bring as much as $10,000.
Bankruptcy Judge Lawrence Ollason signed an order Oct. 11 that an auction be held at 10 a.m. on Oct. 27 to sell the tickets belonging to David Randall Jenkins, a real estate syndicator and developer who filed for bankruptcy three years ago for himself, JNC Cos. and other partnerships and companies.
The university had opposed the auction, contending it should be allowed to control the tickets.
