The Applause ball, held Oct. 12 at the Ritz-Carlton in Dana Point, raised an estimated $50,000 for South Coast Medical Center. Carole Bowman was chairwoman.
An Evening at the Improv, held Oct. 15 at the Improvisation in Irvine, raised an estimated $6,000 for the AIDS Response Program and Stop AIDS Orange County. Jerry Holderman was chairman.
The “Sports Celebrity Waiters Night” held at the Tivoli Terrace in Laguna Beach on Oct. 11 received an estimated $22,000 for the American Lung Association. Terry Hartshorn was chairman.
