Can You Say Justice?: The producers of the children’s television program, “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood,” and Fred Rogers, the show’s creator and host, have settled a lawsuit with the White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan who impersonated Rogers on a telephone message. Rogers filed suit earlier this month alleging that the White Knights were responsible for two telephone messages that misused the trademarks and the copyrighted music and lyrics of Fred Rogers and Family Communications Inc. and that told callers that the speaker was Mister Rogers. The White Knights admitted the imitation was a violation of Rogers’ rights and agreed to stop using the recorded message and to inform other similar organizations not to utilize the imitated phone messages nor create similar messages.
