From Times Wire Services
SEATTLE —
The Seattle SuperSonics reduced their roster to 14 players by releasing forwards Mike Higgins and Mike Giomi.
Higgins signed with Seattle as a free agent after spending parts of the 1989-90 season with the Lakers and the Denver Nuggets.
Giomi played three seasons at Indiana University and one season at North Carolina State. Seattle picked him in the seventh round of the 1987 draft, but Giomi chose to play in Europe.
