U.S. Volleyball Team Will Play Japan at UC Irvine

The U.S. men’s volleyball team will play Japan in an exhibition match at 7 p.m. Nov. 4 in the Bren Center at UC Irvine.

Coached by Bill Neville, the U.S. team includes Scott Fortune, a former Laguna Beach High School and Stanford standout, and Mark Arnold, formerly of Costa Mesa High. Fortune, a 6-foot-6 middle blocker, also played on the 1988 gold-medal winning Olympic team.

Proceeds will benefit the UC Irvine men’s volleyball program.
