Ventura 32, Hueneme 13--Jack Hammond scored three touchdowns to lead host Ventura to a victory. Hammond scored on runs of 92, 25 and three yards as Ventura (6-1-1, 4-0-1) blew the game open after playing to a 7-7 tie in the first half.

The Cougars also scored on a 60-yard pass from Jeff Deitz to Tito Holguin.
