Quartz Hill 35, Ridgecrest Burroughs 7--Erik Thomas gained 169 yards in 14 carries, including touchdown runs of 80 and 17 yards, to lead the Rebels at home. Selves Smith added 131 yards in 13 carries, David Nelson gained 42 yards in nine carries and each scored a touchdown as Quartz Hill (6-2, 3-0) piled up 342 rushing yards.

Quartz Hill defensive back Joel Hansen set a school record with a 93-yard interception return for a touchdown in the third quarter.
