In reference to Looks and Men’s Fall Fashion. Here we have further evidence of the bizarre idea that you are what you look like. Lots of surface, little substance. All those wanna-bes out there who need some sort of confirmation of self-worth can buy a $1,000 jacket to make them feel better about themselves. The rest of us beach guys would rather stick to functional clothes that don’t get in the way of our lifestyle. With the money left over, we can help clean the ocean, support an orphanage in a Third World country, buy a hundred thrift-shop coats for the homeless, outfit ourselves in unfashionable clothes for the year and still have enough left over for a good surf trip.

It all comes down to a matter of values.
