Coldwell Banker to Streamline: The Southern California residential real estate division of Coldwell Banker is closing five offices in response to the housing slump. The company, which has 79 offices in the region, will close branches on Sunset Boulevard and in West Los Angeles, in addition to facilities in San Pedro, Hacienda Heights and Toluca Lake. About 110 of the 125 affected employees are expected to stay with the company, a unit of Sears.
