Eric Davis, who suffered a torn kidney while trying to make a diving catch in the World Series, was released from a Cincinnati hospital.
Doctors said the Reds’ outfielder should be able to recover fully with rest.
Davis is still upset at Reds owner Marge Schott, who declined to pay for his flight from Oakland to Cincinnati last Friday on a private medically equipped plane.
“I got some flowers from Marge a couple of days ago . . . but I still haven’t talked to her, so what good is that?” Davis said.
