Nightclub Fire Damage Estimated at $350,000
A fire that started Friday morning in the bar area of a Northridge nightclub caused an estimated $350,000 in damage, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
There were no injuries in the fire, reported at 3:45 a.m. at the Fantasia West Nightclub in the 19400 block of Nordhoff Street, firefighter Pat Marek said. The nightclub closed more than an hour earlier.
Marek said about 40 firefighters contained the blaze in half an hour. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
