The Shoe Now Fits, So Elway Will Play
Denver Broncos quarterback John Elway has pronounced himself healthy enough to start against San Diego on Sunday, although he probably will be shabbily dressed.
Elway will play with a hole in his shoe.
The quarterback sprained his left big toe and strained his left arch against Minnesota last week. They will try to find a way to protect the foot, either with tape or a bigger shoe.
