Overbrook Farm’s Cuddles and Mobile Phone, the Richard Mandella-trainee who was a smash in her debut at Oak Tree last month, are set to clash in Saturday’s $109,950 Moccasin Breeders’ Cup Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at Hollywood Park.

Cuddles, a daughter of Mr. Prospector, returns to action after winning the Jr. Miss Stakes at Del Mar by three lengths on Aug. 1. Co-high weight with Sea Art in the Moccasin field of 11, Cuddles will be ridden by Gary Stevens.

Mobile Phone will be tested for class in the 6 1/2-furlongs stake that often serves as a springboard to the $500,000 Hollywood Starlet, scheduled Nov. 25 this year. The daughter of Phone Trick dusted off maidens in a snappy 1:09 4/5 for six furlongs at Oak Tree as the odds-on favorite in her only previous start.

Sea Art, to be ridden by Jorge Velasquez, is one of two invaders likely to attract attention. She won two stakes in September at Chicago’s Arlington Park.

The other compelling newcomer is unbeaten Far Out Nurse, an easy winner of her only two races in Maryland.

The field: Ifyoucouldseemenow (Martin Pedroza Jr.) 115, Mobile Phone (Robbie Davis) 112, Island Choice (Kent Desormeaux) 112, Sea Art (Velasquez) 119, Ultra Sass (Jose Santos) 117, Cuddles (Gary Stevens) 119, Ever A Lady (Alex Solis) 115, Far Out Nurse (Rick Wilson) 115, La Bizcocho (David Flores) 112, Dorky (Eddie Delahoussaye) and Nikki’s Baby (Corey Nakatani) 112.
