Fort Is Caught Short Against New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
Kurt Miller scored 21 first half points and New Mexico unveiled an impressive offense Friday night in beating player-depleted Fort Sill, 125-91, in an exhibition game.
With four of its starters on active duty in the Middle East, the Lawton, Okla., Army squad was no match for a New Mexico team that is picked to win the Western Athletic Conference.
