I really enjoyed the movie “The Love She Sought” (NBC, Oct. 21). I happened upon it, and then became totally immersed in the way Angela Lansbury and Denholm Elliott truly gave depth to the characters and their emotions. It made me cry more than once for how much a friendship can mean . . . for the pain and disappointments and also for the forgiveness and ability to endure. The characters came to life for me and will stay in my thoughts for a long time, I’m sure.
