Memorabilia in Demand: Sales of paintings may be falling, but the market for film collectibles remains strong, as indicated by estimated prices for the upcoming auction of Hollywood posters of the ‘20s and ‘30s at Christie’s East in New York City. Among the items that will be offered at the sale on Dec. 11: A one-sheet for Robert Wiene’s 1921 “The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari” ($25,000-$30,000), a 9x20-foot banner for “The Jazz Singer” from 1927 ($15,000-$20,000) and a half-sheet for “The Wizard of Oz” ($10,000-$15,000).
