Stars to Go Hungry: Actors Danny Glover and Edward James Olmos will serve as honorary co-chairs of the First Oxfam America Hollywood Hunger Banquet, part of the organization’s annual Fast for a World Harvest today. Other celebrities scheduled to attend the event include Ruben Blades, Mike Farrell and Raul Julia. The hunger banquet, at the Bel Age Hotel in West Hollywood, will have participants drawing straws to determine if they will be among the 15% to receive a gourmet meal, the 30% to be served a very simple meal or the 55% who will have only rice and water, reflecting the world’s current food distribution.
