PRESEASON NIT ROUNDUP : No. 2 Arkansas Routs Vanderbilt

Lee Mayberry scored 20 points to lead second-ranked Arkansas past Vanderbilt, 107-70, Wednesday night at Fayetteville, Ark.

Arkansas led, 47-22, at halftime and Vanderbilt, which won the postseason NIT last year, never again got closer than 21 points.

Arizona 122, Austin Peay 80--Chris Mills scored 17 points and redshirt freshman Deron Johnson added 16 as the third-ranked Wildcats rolled past the Governors at Tucson.

Duke 87, Marquette 74--Christian Laettner had 24 points and 12 rebounds as the sixth-ranked Blue Devils used 30 turnovers to down the Warriors at Durham, N.C.

Oklahoma 95, New Orleans 65--Terrence Mullins and Kermit Holmes each scored 16 points and the No. 15 Sooners forced 32 turnovers while routing the Privateers at Norman, Okla.

East Tennessee State 83, Brigham Young 80--Keith Jennings scored nine of his 26 points in the final minutes and the Buccaneers beat the Cougars at Provo, Utah.

Boston College 82, Memphis State 78--Freshman guard Howard Eisley scored 18 points and freshman center Billy Curley had 16 points and eight rebounds as the Eagles beat the Tigers at Boston.
