Publisher Stabbed: A homeless man stabbed the publisher of one of New York’s most prominent restaurant surveys while he was watching a film in a theater just off Central Park, police said Thursday. Police said the attack on Eugene Zagat, publisher of “Zagat Restaurant Guide,” took place Tuesday night at a showing of “Dances With Wolves.” A homeless man fell asleep for an hour but was awakened by people laughing at a comic moment during the film, and he began shouting, “Don’t laugh at me.” The man then started slapping Zagat, 50, and the two men struggled. Other patrons pulled the man off the publisher and the suspect fled.
