Reagans to Attend Martin Tribute

Former President and Mrs. Reagan will be among those paying tribute to actress Mary Martin at a memorial scheduled for Dec. 17 at the Majestic Theater in New York. Others who will be taking part in the tribute “in celebration of Mary Martin” will be Bernadette Peters, Helen Hayes, Carol Channing, Theodore Bikel, John Raitt and Van Johnson. Martin, called the First Lady of the Musical Stage, died Nov. 3 of cancer at her home in Rancho Mirage. She was 76.
